Prospects to Personalized Outreach

Set up streams, refine filters, approve leads, and move approved prospects into messaging workflows.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

  1. Step 1

    Create a stream

Start in Streams and create a stream around your role, industry, and company-type criteria. You can add leads manually via Add from Contacts or rely on incoming lead sources.

  2. Step 2

    Add and activate feed filters

Apply filters to narrow to your ideal prospects, then activate the feed so new matching leads continue to flow in automatically.

  3. Step 3

    Configure collection outreach prompt

Define your messaging prompt including tone, offer, and personalization style so generated outreach stays consistent with campaign intent.

  4. Step 4

    Review leads in inbox

Approve or skip each lead. Approved leads move into your collection so only relevant contacts progress.

  5. Step 5

    Set up sending workflow

Configure timing, sequence, and delivery logic for how outreach executes once messages are approved.

  6. Step 6

    Approve final messages

Review generated messages, edit where needed, and approve to make outreach ready for launch.

Practical Deep Dive

How These Screens Work in Real Usage

This section explains how each screen should be used, what good setup looks like, and the main gotchas to avoid.

How the Screens Work

  • Streams index: create and track discovery funnels by ICP intent.
  • Feed filters screen: this controls incoming lead quality, so tune it before scaling volume.
  • Inbox and Collection screens: approve leads first, then approve generated messages before send workflow execution.

What Good Setup Looks Like

  • Lead flow is steady but reviewable, not overloaded.
  • Approval decisions are consistent across team members.
  • Message tone matches ICP stage and offer maturity.

Gotchas to Watch

  • Broad filters create lots of noise and waste review time.
  • Skipping prompt updates after offer changes leads to stale outreach.
  • No clear approval owner causes bottlenecks before launch.

If Something Looks Wrong

  • If lead quality drops, tighten filters before touching message prompts.
  • If message quality drops, refine prompt constraints and include better context.
  • If throughput stalls, check where approvals are blocked: lead stage or message stage.
